I didn't receive many cards this week :( and i already had 2 of those that i've received. I believe next week will be better.

This official arrived last week and it shows the St. Peter and St. Paul Fortress in St. Petersburg.

RU-680043, sent by Natalia.
I already had a card of this fortress but not this view.

The Peter and Paul Fortress is the original citadel of St. Petersburg, Russia, founded by Peter the Great in 1703 and built to Domenico Trezzini's designs from 1706-1740.

The fortress contains several notable buildings clustered around the Peter and Paul Cathedral (1712–1733), which is a Russian Orthodox cathedral. It is the first and oldest landmark in St. Petersburg, built between 1712 and 1733 on Zayachy Island along the Neva River
The cathedral's bell tower is the world's tallest Orthodox bell tower. Since the belfry is not standalone, but an integral part of the main building, the cathedral is sometimes considered the highest Orthodox Church in the world. - in:
