Anne has also been on holidays recently. In September she traveled again to Lapland to see the region slowly changing to autumn colors.
The village of Äkäslompolo is located 200 km north of the Arctic Circle, deep in Finnish Lapland surrounded by the peaceful old forests of the Pallas-Ylläs Nature Park.
It is situated next to a lake of the same name, north west of the town of Kolari. Äkäslompolo had approx. 400 inhabitants. It is surrounded by ski fields and cross country tracks and is a popular holiday cabin area. - in: https://www.fiftydegreesnorth.com
