In October, Flora, Merle, Karina and Radana focused on my rural life wishes.
Saimaa Geopark located in Eastern Finland, tells the story of the origins and development of the labyrinthine Lake Saimaa waters and the beautiful nature surrounding it, right up to the present day. The nature sites, hiking trails and towns around the captivating waterways in the Saimaa Geopark area contain an incredible history stretching back millions of years. - in: https://saimaageopark.fi

Vineyard and Staufenberg Castle in Ortenau, a historic region in the present-day German state of Baden-Württemberg.
Schloss Staufenberg, Fortress of the Margrave of Baden was constructed in the 11th century by the famous house of the Duchy of Zähringer, the ancestor to the current Margrave of Baden.
While the earliest records of winegrowing come from 1366, wine was likely cultivated on the Staufenberg even earlier. - in: https://www.schloss-staufenberg.de

Karina checked my mills collection and noticed I didn't have any from Belgium. This is now my 1st belgian mill.
Schellemill is one of the most picturesque spots in Damme. Since the foundation of the town, there has been a mill on this place.
The current mill was built in 1867 and was in use until 1963. In 1971 it was bought by the province of West-Flanders and restored between 1975 and 1977. The mill is a protected monument since 1975 and since its restoration the wings are again turning in the wind.

I only have 2 windmill cards from Czech Republic, both sent by Radana.
The Windmill in Kuželov is one of the few preserved windmills of a so-called Dutch type. It was built in 1842 and it was used for more than 100 years. It stopped its operation in 1946. An extensive reconstruction was done there and it was restored to working condition, but only as an exhibit of the Technical Museum in Brno. - in: https://www.tmbrno.cz
