PT RR - Group 107 * Surprise June

It's really funny and interresting to take part in these surprise groups. This month I got cards from France, Portugal and Martinique.

The Eiffel Tower is France's most famous monument but I don't have many cards show it. Ana likes to send me snowy views and this time she sent this one.
The Eiffel Tower, La Tour Eiffel in French, was the main exhibit of the Paris Exposition — or World's Fair — of 1889. It was constructed to commemorate the centennial of the French Revolution and to demonstrate France's industrial prowess to the world. - in:  https://www.livescience.com/29391-eiffel-tower.html
Although initially criticized by some of France's leading artists and intellectuals for its design, it has become a global cultural icon of France and one of the most recognisable structures in the world. The Eiffel Tower is the most-visited paid monument in the world; 6.91 million people ascended it in 2015. - in: wikipedia

Beautiful views from São Miguel island sent by Rui.
Sete Cidades Lake; Ribeira Grande; São Jorge cheese; Furnas; Ponta Delgada; Vila Franca do Campo; Hydrangeas; Fogo Lake; Ponta Delgada Marina and pineapples.

Coimbra is one of my portuguese favorite cities. There's so much to see there. One of the city's most beautiful monuments is the Old Cathedral. It dates from the 13th century and was opened for worship in 1184. It is one of the most stunning Romanesque monuments in Portugal.
The card was sent by Patrícia.
