DE-1378141

The postcrossing world is really small. A few weeks ago i've received a card of one of the castles i saw during the cruise along the Rhine during the PC meeting in Köln; this card was sent by someone i met in the meeting and today i've sent an official to another girl i also met there :D

This is a card from Münster, a city in North Rhine-Westphalia. The card shows the city's predominant landmark, Münster's historical Town-hall.
With its high gable, Münster’s Town-hall, a gothic building from the mid-14th century. In 1648, the Hall of Peace provided the backdrop to the invocation of the Spanish-Dutch Peace, which formed a part of the Peace of Westphalia.
Having been destroyed during World War II, it was rebuilt true to the original from 1950 to 1958.
