Sagres Fortress - Portugal

"The village of Sagres is situated on Europe's most south-western corner near Cabo do São Vicen. Due to its position on the southern side of the cape, Sagres is well protected against the rough Atlantic Ocean and strong westerly winds. It was this exposed location that made Sagres the starting point of numerous expeditions during past centuries. The age of the Portuguese Discoveries began back in the 15th century, initiated by Henry the Navigator." - in: http://www.algarve-portal.com/en/cities/sagres/

Copenhagen - Denmark

"Copenhagen Citadel, once an important fortress to protect the Copenhagen citizens from attack, was used to take evening walks.

King Frederik VII in the mid-19th century was particularly fond of walking the walls with his commoner wife, Countess Danner, and the tradition of walking the walls on Storbededag is said to be his invention - to show himself to the common Danish crowd." - in: http://english.saxo.ku.dk/calendar/citadel_walk/. Budapest - Hungary

Royal Palace, Elisabeth Bridge, Matthias' Fountain and the "Buzogány" Tower.

"St Stephen's Basilica it is named in honour of Stephen, the first King of Hungary, whose mummified fist is housed in the reliquary.
Along with the Hungarian Parliament Building, it is the tallest building of Budapest (96 m). It has a width of 55 meters, and its length is 87,4 meters. It was completed in 1905 after 54 years of construction. Much of this delay can be attributed to the collapse of the dome in 1868 which required complete demolition of the completed works and rebuilding from the ground up.
The architectural style is neoclassical and the interior is laid out in Greek cross." -

"Acre is a historic walled port-city with continuous settlement from the Phoenician period. The present city is characteristic of a fortified town dating from the Ottoman 18th and 19th centuries, with typical urban components such as the citadel, mosques, khans and baths. The remains of the Crusader town, dating from 1104 to 1291, lie almost intact, both above and below today's street level, providing an exceptional picture of the layout and structures of the capital of the medieval Crusader kingdom of Jerusalem." - in: http://whc.unesco.org/en/list/1042

"The Sinai Peninsula or Sinai is a triangle-shaped peninsula in Egypt. It lies between the Mediterranean Sea (to the north) and Red Sea (to the south), forming a land bridge to Southwest Asia." - in: wikipedia.

"Petra is an archaeological site in southwestern Jordan, lying on the slope of Mount Hor in a basin among the mountains which form the eastern flank of Arabah (Wadi Araba), the large valley running from the Dead Sea to the Gulf of Aqaba. It is renowned for its rock-cut architecture. The site remained unknown to the Western world until 1812, when it was discovered by Swiss explorer Johann Ludwig Burckhardt. It was famously described as "a rose-red city half as old as time" in a Newdigate prize-winning sonnet by John William Burgon. UNESCO has described it as "one of the most precious cultural properties of man's cultural heritage."In 1985, Petra was designated a World Heritage Site. It is one of the "New Seven Wonders of the World"." . in: wikipedia.
