The Versailles Palace is one of the french monuments on my must visit list. The palace must be great and all those gardens, fountains and statues too.
This card is similar to another one i had in my favorites. Knowing that, Raquel Ferro sent it to me signed my the postcrossers at the belgian Antwerpen Meeting last March 31th.
The name of this bronze statue is Le Rhône, the guardian of Versailles. It was created by the famous French sculptor Jean-Baptiste Tuby.
