Comayagua - Honduras

This is another card sent by Wilmer.
Comayagua is a city in Honduras, some 50 miles (80 km) northwest of Tegucigalpa.
The city is noted for its wealth of Spanish Colonial architecture. The central square has a cathedral with the oldest clock in the Americas.

The Cathedral of Comayagua, built in the 18th century. The clock was built 914 years ago and most impressive of all, is still working. This clock, built by the Arabs in the year 1100, followed the road of the Spanish explorers, crossing the Atlantic Ocean to finally stop in Comayagua almost 400 years ago.
